The Viet Nam Financial Consulting Association (VFCA) has recently asked for securities transactions to be suspended during massive sell-off sessions to stabilise the market.
The State Securities Commission of Viet Nam (SSC) will tighten the supervision of the securities transaction activities of both domestic and foreign investors in the national stock exchanges to ensure the market''s transparency and efficiency in operating.
The number of securities transactions and the deal value in the first
quarter at the HCM Stock Exchange fell to the lowest levels since the
first quarter of 2014, according to statistics provided by the exchange.
